Research Team for the History of Cartography is the unit of L. and A. Birkenmajer Institute for the History of Science of Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, according to its statute. The target of the Team is to inspire, coordinate and help in researches on history of cartography, in particular of historical and present day Polish lands and bygone I Rzeczpospolita, also to propagate the knowledge in this area.
